Weekly Sale Alert – September 7

weekly ebook sale alertSo I’ve been slack with my blogging, but I’ve had the most awesome three days! Thursday night, I went to the Atria Indies Fall in Love tour and met Jamie McGuire, Colleen Hoover, and Abbi Glines! Eeek!

It was also my first ever book signing, and it was awesome! I met a bunch of friends and got to tell them about this blog (if you’re reading, hi new friends!), got paperbacks signed that I’m saving for a giveaway for you, and just got to geek out about books. Most of my friends aren’t big readers, so it was exciting to be able to talk about books face-to-face instead of online!

I’m going to post a longer blog post about the tour, but God knows when I’ll have time. I signed up for WAY too many tours this month! Ahhh. Okay, let’s do this.

Onto the sales!

The usual spiel: these are all books I personally recommend.

First loves, second chances…

When Cali Morgan kicks off her perfect post-college summer in Lake Tahoe, she has everything she ever wanted: acceptance into a top law program, a gorgeous boyfriend, and an incredible summer planned with her best friend.

Confident about her place in the world, Cali makes it her mission to be her friend’s wingwoman and help her meet guys. What Cali doesn’t count on is running into Jaeger Lang, one of her older brother’s high school friends, or the sparks that fly when she’s around him.

Jaeger has changed, and it’s not just the added height and muscle. There’s something about him that’s deep and a little scarred. In spite of the changes, Jaeger becomes a top pick for her friend—if Cali can keep her hands off him.

But when Cali’s boyfriend dumps her and her carefully laid plans begin to unravel, she finds herself questioning what it is she truly desires. In the midst of doubts about her future, one thing is very clear: she wants Jaeger for her own. The question is, has her friend already fallen for him?

That Man 1 by Nelle L’Amour – Free

that man 1 by nelle l'amourThere’s a new beautiful player in town…

Blake Burns, the sexy head of SIN-TV, who goes through women like some go through water. Until he meets Jennifer McCoy, his outspoken new assistant and development executive.

Newly engaged Jennifer has no idea that her devastatingly gorgeous new boss is the man she kissed, blindfolded, in a game of Truth or Dare. That kiss, that man, that beautiful stranger she cannot forget.

Blake hasn’t been able to stop thinking about that kiss either…and he’ll do anything to win Jennifer –even if it means being a beautiful bastard and breaking all the rules.

Spin by CD Reiss – On Sale for $0.99

spin by cd reissMafia capo, Antonio Spinelli blew through my orderly life like a cyclone.

Gorgeous and passionate, with a breathtaking brutality, he put me under his spell the moment he touched me, drawing me into his underworld of risk, violence and betrayal.

And I found, just as this sophisticated savage didn’t trust me, I didn’t trust myself. Something happened to me. Some alchemy from the heat between us.

I discovered I was a savage, too.

Welcome to Paradise Box Set by S.L. Scott – On Sale for $0.99

welcome to paradise by s.l. scottFrom New York Times Best Selling Author, S. L. Scott – Three Full Length Amazon Bestsellers and a novella make up this Contemporary Romance/New Adult/Romance Erotica Series. For audiences 17+

I thought I was strong… But I wasn’t when it came to Evan Ashford.

The rich, cocky playboy I met within minutes of landing in Hawaii didn’t give me arrogance. He gave me his heart and his hard truths. In return, I gave him everything, including my trust. The man made me weak in the knees, but I soon learned the bad boy surfer had a reputation that preceded him and an image to uphold.

The sexual chemistry was unquestionable, our emotions irrational, but our love was undeniable. Together our pasts didn’t matter. Our different backgrounds were irrelevant. He made me feel his life wasn’t worth living without me in it. He took my breath away and saved each one of them, owning me wholly.

Evan became my life, but with all the obstacles that stood in our way, could he become my future?

The Publicist by Christina George – Free

the publicist by christina georgeCan one woman change an age-old institution like publishing? Probably not, but Kate Mitchell sure wants to try. As a publicist with a large, respected New York publishing house, Kate finds herself at the mercy of a broken publishing system, books that don’t sell, and author egos that are often, well, as big as the island of Manhattan.

Enter the star editor, MacDermott Ellis: Tall, handsome, charismatic, married, and ready to save the day. Then there’s Allan Lavigne, once a revered author—now as forgotten as last year’s bestsellers and his nephew Nick: Tall, gorgeous, sweet, single, and ready to sweep Kate off her feet. Kate wants to do the right thing but her hormones seem to be driving her decisions.

As Kate tries to navigate the landmine of publicity, over-the-top author expectations, and the careful dance of “I’m sorry, your book isn’t on the bestseller list this week,” she also finds authors who are painfully overlooked by a publisher wanting more romance and sex, more celebrities, and more scandal.

Beautiful Oblivion by Addison Moore – On Sale for $0.99

beautiful oblivion by addison mooreIt was supposed to be just for the summer…

Some people just don’t belong together, or at least that’s what the world would have them believe.

Reese Westfield comes from a world of old money, country clubs, cotillions, and expensive cars. She’s tired of dating Warren McCarthy just to make her father happy. Reese has long since had her eye on someone else, and this summer she’s determined to make it happen.

Growing up in Lake Loveless there has always been a strict monetary divide—there was the rest of the Lake and then there were the Waterman’s. Ace Waterman has worked for everything he has, and he doesn’t have a lot. He breaks his back doing grunt work while putting himself through college. He’s used to life passing him by.

Reese has loved Ace from afar for as long as she can remember. The summer of her freshman year she comes home with plans to land Ace in her bed at least for a few short weeks, and, if she’s lucky, forever.

Ace has loved Reese for as long as he can remember, but their friendship has never graduated beyond platonic, so when Reese comes home from her first year away and proposes the two of them have a summer fling, Ace is quick to comply. The rules: no strings, no expectations, just something hotter than the sun to set the sheets on fire.

But when their worlds collide, and neither of them is willing to admit to having true feelings, it becomes clear to Ace he’s nothing more than a dirty little secret—that the summer fling was just something meaningless to pass the time.

Reese wonders if she can ever stop trying to please her father, and it’s only through her mother’s letters that she finds the answers she truly seeks, but will they be the ones she wants to hear?

As summer draws to a close, Ace and Reese are still very much enraptured even though the time has come to douse the flame and move on—but neither one of them is prepared to leave this BEAUTIFUL OBLIVION.
