#BookBlogWriMo Day 30 – That’s a Wrap

Posted 1 December, 2014 in Features / 1 Comment

Welcome to day 30 of #BookBlogWriMo! WE DID IT!

Gah! I’m so excited/sad. Today is the last month of #BookBlogWriMo, and I’m SO proud of myself and everyone else who stuck with it until the end! I haven’t officially collected feedback (peeps that did it: watch out for an email with a survey link soon), but I already have people talking about doing it again, wanting to co-host, and basically making me feel really good for starting this challenge

I feel like I’ve really grown as a blogger in the past month. On days when it was 11:30 and I really didn’t want to back-date the post or post on what was technically the last day, I learned how to focus (I focus best when my deadline is way too close).

I also kind of think it’s helped me carve out a niche for myself, which is something I definitely want to focus on more in the future. Between this and the monthly challenge I plan on launching in early 2015, I’m really excited!

My favorite posts to write were definitely the ones that doubled as Bumblings Blog Tips: the ones about my toolkit and workflow, as well as advice for newbies. Other highlights of the month were picturing my blog’s future, learning from the posts my audience has enjoyed most, and just letting out my rant about bookish pet peeves.

(If you want to participate in next year’s #BookBlogWriMo, you can sign up for its mailing list here.)

In case you missed them, here are all my challenge posts:
