About Wildcard Volume 3:

She’s hiding something from me and I need to know what it is. I’ve done so many things I never thought I’d do for this woman and it kills me that she’s lying to me.

How can I make her see that she can trust me?

Do I want to know the truth?

Sometimes things are easier when they’re left unsaid…

Review:

Recommended for: Twisters and turners, tennis players, and anyone who wouldn’t be too sad to see one of their exes a little banged up.

What I liked about this series was the distinctly different themes each volume has. Volume 1 was all about carefree, cocky Ryder. Volume 2 was when we saw vengeful, hurt Ryder. This volume was all about “I’ll fight and do anything for my woman,” Ryder. I loved it.

I also loved the vulnerability both Ryder and Scarlett showed. Even though they were secure in their feelings for each other, they were really insecure in their future. A lot of relationships are like that.

You may be surprised to hear that there wasn’t much sex in this book. It was still hot, though. It was more romantic than it was sexy most of the time. Because of all of the drama introduced in Volume 2, they were a tad…preoccupied. Trying to stay out of jail and stuff. It can be kind of time-consuming.

The ending was cute and happy, but Jake stole the show. I love that little dude!

Looking forward to reading Cally’s story. 🙂

About Missy Johnson:

Missy lives in a small town in Central Victoria with her husband, and her confused pets (a dog who think she’s a cat, a cat who thinks he’s a dog…you get the picture).

When she’s not writing, she can usually be found looking for something to read.
