Once again, I didn’t read as much as I would’ve liked to this week.
I really hope this is just a temporary theme.
In spite of that, I bought a ton of books, so my backlog is gonna get even longer than the current 20 pages of unread books on my Kindle Paperwhite’s home page.
Books keep coming out, books keep going on sale, and I keep snatching them up. At least Swagbucks gets me tons of Amazon gift cards, so I won’t be going bankrupt yet.
I’ve also been trying to decide if I should try Kindle Unlimited. It sounds awesome, yeah, and some of my favorite authors are already listed on there. But based on what I know about other subscription services like Spotify and Netflix, creators (in this case, authors) make a LOT less money when you view their stuff through a subscription service instead of buying it. Plus, I’m possessive and I like knowing that a book on my kindle is MINE. Haha.
How did I find these?
I subscribe to a few newsletters that email you a list of books that are free or on sale. It’s great. Even though I usually end up buying more books that way, I still probably save because books on my wish list are frequently listed, and I know to buy them sooner rather than later. You can sign up for the newsletters here, here, and here. I also browse the Daily Deal and sale sections of Amazon and other book blogs.
How did I pick these?
A lot of these are books I personally recommend because I’ve either read and enjoyed them or plan to read them myself.
On to the books!

Haven’t read this one yet, but love Jennifer’s other series!

It rocked her when she picked up a strange volume of love spells in the town’s used bookstore . . . and it zapped her again when she encountered Slade Montgomery, the hot-tempered— and hot-bodied—divorce lawyer who storms into Kinnections demanding proof that playing Cupid won’t destroy his vulnerable sister, Kate’s newest client.
The only way to convince this cynic that she’s no fraud, and that love is no mirage, is for Kate to meet his audacious challenge: find him his dream woman. Can Kate keep their relationship strictly business when her electrifying attraction nearly knocked her off her feet? Or has the matchmaker finally met her match?

Love Brazen Entangled. Love J. Lynn. LOOOOOVE the Gamble Brothers and I’m pretty sure Chandler is my favorite of the boys.

Chandler Gamble has one rule: don’t protect anyone you want to screw. But with Alana, he’s caught between his job and his increasingly hard libido. On one hand, Alana needs his help. On the other, Chandler wants nothing more than to take the hot volcano of a woman in hand. To make her writhe in pleasure, until she’s at his complete mercy.
She needs protection. He needs satisfaction. And the moment the line is crossed, all hell will break loose…
