So sorry I missed last week, but I was just having the best weekend! My boyfriend an I went and visited his family on Long Island and we went to visit our friends in NYC.
His family is…interesting. I’m always tempted to write a “Sh!t my Dad Says”-type book under my boyfriend’s name after spending time with his dad. This time, he tried to convince us that there were several sharknados in the 1800s.
And in the city, I met up with my best friend of 20 years (and we’re only 23, so I don’t really know what it’s like to not be friends with her) and we went to the High Line and saw Newsies! I’ve been wanting to see Newsies pretty much since it opened, and finally gave up hope when I saw it was closing in August. But we ended up getting 40% off tickets at the TKTS booth – for FOURTH ROW seats! As a former tap dancer, I LOVED being right at eye-level with their tap shoes!
Anyway, onto the books you should buy this week:
Room for You by Beth Ehemann – On Sale for $0.99
Four years ago, my dreams were shattered in an instant.
I tried to pick up the pieces and glue them back together the best I knew how, but something was always missing.
A father for my two girls.
But then, Brody Murphy landed on my doorstep, literally. He was a carefree, playful hockey player who barged into my life and messed with my head. He left me more confused than I had ever been.
What if the one thing I thought I needed was the only thing holding me back?
Room for More by Beth Ehemann – On Sale for $0.99
Three months ago, I found something I haven’t had in years.
That hope came in the form of a sexy, carefree hockey player named Brody Murphy. He swooped in and won me over with his big heart and the way he cared for me…and my girls. When they look at him, they see the father they’ve never had.
Now, my past and present are colliding and the outcome might just be too much for me to bear. Can I make the right decision when I’ve spent my whole life making the wrong ones?

All Lined Up by Cora Carmack – On Sale for $1.99
Dallas Cole loathes football. That’s what happens when you spend your whole childhood coming in second to a sport. College is her time to step out of the bleachers, and put the playing field (and the players) in her past.
But life doesn’t always go as planned. As if going to the same college as her football star ex wasn’t bad enough, her father, a Texas high school coaching phenom, has decided to make the jump to college ball… as the new head coach at Rusk University. Dallas finds herself in the shadows of her father and football all over again.
Carson McClain is determined to go from second-string quarterback to the starting line-up. He needs the scholarship and the future that football provides. But when a beautiful redhead literally falls into his life, his focus is more than tested. It’s obliterated.
Dallas doesn’t know Carson is on the team. Carson doesn’t know that Dallas is his new coach’s daughter.
And neither of them know how to walk away from the attraction they feel.
