It’s My Life
Work’s been pretty busy lately – our CEO is going to be here this week so there was a lot of work to prepare for that. I’ve also been doing a lot of writing lately – blogging more here, on my other blog, and at work, as well as working on an ecourse I’m really excited about!
I also discovered Airtable* and am making databases for everything now. I’ve done my DVDs / digital movies & TV shows, my expense tracking, and am slowly making my way through a massive database of my books. And taking screenshots and videos along the way for a tutorial on building a book database that is going to be wondrously Type A. 😛
Speaking of compulsive organization, I had quite the Type A weekend. I painted swatches on all my nail polish tops this weekend and lined them up in a new case by color. I should not be so excited about it. Then today my boyfriend and I replaced the crappy file boxes I use to organize things with gorgeous ones in turquoise, lime green, and grey. Then when I was Instagramming all this stuff I met my new best friends on the #typeAalltheway hashtag lol. Yay!

Be a Better Blogger: DIY GSD
For this month’s Be a Better Blogger challenge, pick 3 small tasks that you’ve been procrastinating. That can be anything from updating your review archives (one of my goals) to spending a few hours writing reviews in advance or scheduling social media posts. Pick 3 things you want to do but haven’t yet, and do them.

Do you skimm?
TheSkimm is a daily newsletter (every weekday) that sends you a summary of the headlines from the day before. Actually, it’s better. Because the writing is funny, sarcastic, witty, and full of fun culture references. All while making me a more informed citizen. After all, why read the news when I can read a book? 😛
10 Listicle Ideas for Book Bloggers
I created a freebie for new Bumblings Blog Tips subscribers: a PDF of 10 listicle headlines for book bloggers. (If you’re already a subscriber, just fill out the form and it should arrive in your inbox!)
Nose Graze Bundle
If you use the Ultimate Book Blogger plugin*, you can buy a bundle of 4 add-ons (a $40 value) for $27. You’ll be able to add flame ratings, reading challenges, review requests, and posting to Goodreads to your book blog while using a plugin you’re already familiar with – no new tools! 🙂
