Review: So, this series kind of devolved for me. I really liked Say My Name, but then On My Knees kind of felt like “filler.” And in this book, it felt like Nikki and Damien 2.0 – like reusing stories and changing the names and some details. I felt the big twist was so obvious from the start anyway. For it to be dragged out for so long started to get boring. So I didn’t even get the satisfaction of closure on that topic. This book just really didn’t do much. I’m actually liking Damien more than in his own books. Whenever […]

On My Knees Review: Honestly, this book felt a little like filler to me. Like how the middle of every single season of Revenge is. Where the writer has something really huge coming up for us, but is saving it for the season finale (or in this case, the final book). To explain it in real terms, instead of my own language of relating things to TV shows, the book was kind of a plateau. It kind of mirrored Say My Name a lot – the same issues, but with different details. And it ends on a cliffhangy high note extremely similar […]
My Review: Upfront, I’ll say I was iffy about this book. Honestly, there have been so many Damien and Nikki novellas that my interest is waning, and I didn’t love the other spin-off that’s out. But I did really, really love Damien and Nikki and I love J. Kenner‘s writing, so I opened this up. I really love when books expand on a really, really minor character from a previous book or series. Yes, in Damien and Nikki’s life, Sylvia isn’t minor. But we don’t see much of her in their books. Which makes this so interesting. We go into […]
Hay, gurl hay! I’m so excited to bring you guys a little conversation with this awesome author…you may have heard of her. J. Kenner? Yeah, that’s right. J. Kenner is here and I’m loving it. Let’s jump right into the questions!
Review: Recommended for: White Collar and Catch Me If You Can fans, BDSMers, dirty talkers One thing that I’ve loved about all of the Most Wanted books is the grey area the three knights live in. They live on that line that divides good and bad. For example, take what we learned in the second book about what was going on at Destiny. Sure, they do things that are much less than legal, but then the good things they do are far more good than the bad things are bad. Cole August thinks he’s closer to the edge of […]
