Review: We all know I love friends becoming lovers, girls/boys next door included, and this was an interesting twist on that. While Kennedy and Brent were friends at one point, they sure aren’t when they get together in the book. Childhood friends who grew apart in a painful way means lots of hurt that hasn’t been addressed, because the relationship ended when it happened. Review: True story: I read this while on a business trip in June, and the laughter-induced snorting it caused was so bad that my coworkers (and roommates for the trip) came into my bedroom to check on me when they thought I was choking to death.
