Welcome to day 21 of #BookBlogWriMo! It’s another flashback day, with the them of reviews this time. Gah! I’m so sick of being sick. It’s even more annoying now that I’m on antibiotics but they haven’t started working yet. I’ve just laid in the dark all day and watched Audrey Hepburn movies waiting for the headache and sore throat to pass. Even the light of my laptop is awful on this headache, and it’s on the lowest brightness setting. But I’m trying to stay ahead of my #BookBlogWriMo posts, so here’s today’s.

Welcome to day 15 of #BookBlogWriMo! Today we’re recognizing that this isn’t all sunshine and roses. Everything has its ups and downs. Book blogging is awesome, and I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t enjoy it. But just as I have my favorite things, I also have some things I don’t love about being a book blogger.

So, I don’t want to go into too much detail on this one because if I had the time, I could just go on and on until November and #BookBlogWriMo are over. But, hey, that’s why I post blogging advice every week. Knowing a blog’s most popular posts is pretty similar to knowing the blog’s best posts, at least in the eyes of its readers. That’s valuable information to any blogger. It can help guide future post ideas, and figure out what works and what doesn’t, both in terms of content and promotion. That’s why stats matter to me: not to gauge success, but to guide direction. Welcome to day 10 of #BookBlogWriMo! Today we’re talking memes (and pronouncing it “meem”). First, I really want to sing this, so let’s get it out of the way early… “I memed a meme of times gone byyyyy…when posts were fun and blogs worth bloggingggggg…” Okay, now let’s get down to business. I love memes, but actually don’t do a lot of them on the blog (yet). So today will a short post, which I’m definitely looking forward to after Saturday’s and Sunday’s posts took hours each. 🙂
