Be a Better Blogger: Create a Blog Post Ideas Bucket

Hey everyone! Welcome to the 6th Be a Better Blogger Challenge! One of the best parts of sticking to a blogging schedule is that you know what kind of content you need to create, and when. But even if you know that on Tuesdays you write blogging tips and discussion posts are on Thursdays, one of the most difficult parts of blogging still remains: coming up with a post topic. The two terms are often used interchangeably but have little in common. Aside from hitting publish, what other work goes into your blog? Social media posting, reviewing, cross-posting, browsing NetGalley, contacting authors, and more. That’s all a part of blogging, as well, and […]

My February Be a Better Blogger Goals

Hey everyone! I just posted the February Be a Better Blogging challenge. This month, we’re creating blogging schedules. I already have a pretty detailed schedule, so there’s not much I’ll need to do, but I do want to add a few things to my structure: Become better at sticking to the editorial calendar when it comes to non-mandatory posts (aka not blog tour stops). Create a schedule for backing up my blog and mailing list. Overall,  stick to the schedule better, even if I come home from work really tired. Complete tasks early more often. Stay tuned throughout the month […]
