To-Do List: March Write On Review-a-Thon

Posted 19 March, 2015 in Features / 5 Comments

write on review-a-thonIt’s happening again! After missing last month’s Review-a-Thon for ApollyCon (I made a rhyme!), I’m back and ready to play catchup with my NetGalley dashboard, as usual.

But unlike usual, I’m trying to keep my list realistic. I’ll be visiting my boyfriend this weekend, but he has to work a full day Saturday because accountants disappear around this time of year. ๐Ÿ˜›

I’m also going to try something different. Normally, I check something off my review list once the post is scheduled and done. But formatting the post usually takes just as long, if not longer, than writing the review itself.

So this month, I’m just going to draft the reviews in Evernote and format them when it’s closer to their publishing date. The only downside to this is that I won’t be able to add a link to the review in this post when I cross it off my list. Not a big loss. ๐Ÿ™‚

On this month’s list:

Wish me luck! And hope the weather isn’tย too nice because unless they have free Wifi in Central Park now, a nice day won’t be conducive to writing. ๐Ÿ˜›

Update:ย I am loving my NetGalley ratio right now! 82%! Even though WORAT is technically over, I think this is the closest I’ve come to completely finishing a Review-a-Thon list! So I’m going to finish it today, and in my mind it counts. ๐Ÿ™‚
