Well, it’s been a long time since I’ve done one of these! Coincidentally, it’s been a long time since I actually stuck to my review schedule and editorial calendar. Womp womp wooooomp…
Since moving to NYC, I spend a lot less time online. But even as I miss blogging and reading, I don’t feel (that) guilty about choosing to walk home from work when it’s nice out, even if it does take an hour and a half I planned on blogging during.
But I do reaaaaally need to catch up. I’ve drastically cut back on new signups, since I’m not online to see the emails, obviously. So at least I haven’t missed any scheduled reviews. But my NetGalley shelf is hella full and I’m really slacking on my challenges.
So, onto the list! (As always, I’m starting my WORAT when I write the post, because I’m too Type A to ignore a public to-do list for a few days.)

Oy vey! That’s long…
Update (Sunday, 07/26): Woohoo! Got it all done. Well, not all of it is scheduled in WordPress & ready to go yet. And that’s key for me. Last time I did a bunch of reviews in Trello, I ended up forgetting to post them in WordPress on the days I’d planned. Even worse, I had already submitted the reviews to NetGalley with a note of what days they would be published – dates that had come and gone. 🙁
I’ve learned my lesson and have only submitted NetGalley feedback for reviews that are completely scheduled.
About the Write On Review-a-Thon:
The Write On review-a-thon is a monthly event created and hosted by Brianna at The Book Vixen. This time, for the FIRST TIME ever, it’s 3 days dedicated to getting reviews done, whether you have one review to write or 30+. This edition of the review-a-thon takes place all day Saturday, April 25 through Sunday, April 26th. Let’s get those reviews done!
I’m the same way! I start working on my to do list as soon as it posts. I need the head start 🙂 Good luck on getting your reviews done and thanks for participating!!
Thanks. 🙂
I really need help with scheduling and keeping more organised, how do you keep organised? How many reviews do you schedule to post weekly? I wouldn’t feel guilty either if I could walk around the beautiful NYC 😀
My Review-a-thon post
I use Trello to organize my ARCs. Very few of them are for tours and most of them are through NetGalley, so I’m not strict with dates as long as it’s close to release day. But my loose goal is 2 reviews per week. You can see more about how I organize my reading schedule in this post: http://www.bookbumblings.com/organize-blog-with-trello/
