Well, it’s been a long time since I’ve done one of these! Coincidentally, it’s been a long time since I actually stuck to my review schedule and editorial calendar. Womp womp wooooomp…
Since moving to NYC, I spend a lot less time online. But even as I miss blogging and reading, I don’t feel (that) guilty about choosing to walk home from work when it’s nice out, even if it does take an hour and a half I planned on blogging during.
But I do reaaaaally need to catch up. I’ve drastically cut back on new signups, since I’m not online to see the emails, obviously. So at least I haven’t missed any scheduled reviews. But my NetGalley shelf is hella full and I’m really slacking on my challenges.
So, onto the list! (As always, I’m starting my WORAT when I write the post, because I’m too Type A to ignore a public to-do list for a few days.)
My July Write On Review-a-Thon To-Do List
Truth or Beard by Penny Reid– scheduled for 7/21 Zack by Sawyer Bennett– scheduled for 7/23 The Consequence of Loving Colton by Rachel Van Dyken– scheduled for 7/28 On My Knees by J. Kenner– scheduled for 7/30 Flirting with Fire by Kate Meader– scheduled for 8/08 Made for Us by Samantha Chase– drafted in Trello The Consequence of Revenge by Rachel Van Dyken– drafted in Trello
Oy vey! That’s long…
Update (Sunday, 07/26): Woohoo! Got it all done. Well, not all of it is scheduled in WordPress & ready to go yet. And that’s key for me. Last time I did a bunch of reviews in Trello, I ended up forgetting to post them in WordPress on the days I’d planned. Even worse, I had already submitted the reviews to NetGalley with a note of what days they would be published – dates that had come and gone. 🙁
I’ve learned my lesson and have only submitted NetGalley feedback for reviews that are completely scheduled.
