Heyo, heyo! Once again, there are a LOT of books on sale! I came up with a new method for finding sales, and it definitely seems to be working! I had another week of catching up on ARCs and planning out reviews for NetGalley. I’m pretty sure I’m also going to read Beauty and the Mustache again this week since IT COMES OUT THIS WEEEEEK!!! Yay! The next two weeks are going to be pretty busy weeks on the blog, so get excited! Now onto the sales! *The usual spiel: these are all books that I personally recommend. I don’t […]
It has been SUCH a good book week for me! But also, stressful, deciding which ones to read! Sometimes, I don’t have a say in the matter. If I’m signed up for a blitz or review tour, obviously my review needs to be finished my scheduled date. With ARCs, I need to have the review written by the time the book comes out. But this week, I have so many ARCs that I’ve been waiting a long time for, and I have awhile to read them all. HOW DO I DECIDE?!?! I read Beauty and the Mustache by Penny Reid […]
Hey everyone! So sorry I missed last week, but I was just having the best weekend! My boyfriend an I went and visited his family on Long Island and we went to visit our friends in NYC. His family is…interesting. I’m always tempted to write a “Sh!t my Dad Says”-type book under my boyfriend’s name after spending time with his dad. This time, he tried to convince us that there were several sharknados in the 1800s. And in the city, I met up with my best friend of 20 years (and we’re only 23, so I don’t really know what […]
Awesome news, everyone! If you don’t subscribe to Emma Chase’s newsletter, you may not have heard, but she has signed copies of all paperback books in the Tangled series on sale right now!
So, the good news: I’m back on my reading kick! Four finished book this week. Squee! (Or should I say smeep?) Also, I found out that I’m a new member of Cora Carmack’s street team! I’m a ginormous fan, she’s one of my favorite people, and I can’t wait to start doing whatever it is street team members do! I also joined NetGalley…I was a little unsure since I’ve heard about other bloggers not liking the books they’ve gotten from there. But so far, I’ve read two books and I LOVED them both! Read my review of The Summer of Jake […]
Once again, I didn’t read as much as I would’ve liked to this week. I really hope this is just a temporary theme. In spite of that, I bought a ton of books, so my backlog is gonna get even longer than the current 20 pages of unread books on my Kindle Paperwhite’s home page. Books keep coming out, books keep going on sale, and I keep snatching them up. At least Swagbucks gets me tons of Amazon gift cards, so I won’t be going bankrupt yet. I’ve also been trying to decide if I should try Kindle Unlimited. It […]
Well, I hope you had a better weekend than me. I moved, which is awesome, but the actual moving process sucks. Up and down from the car to my new third-floor apartment 6 times gave my thighs a workout, and now I don’t know where anything ended up. Then when I was finishing everything up, I celebrated by spraining my ankle. Fun times. Life would be good if I could just sit back, ice my ankle, read, and eat some of my fancypants popcorn. But, alas! Where is said fancypants popcorn? Not a frigging clue. So instead, I’ll dealhunt and buy […]
Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings are two of my favorite people in the world. Sure, I’ve never met them, but I’m 150% sure I’d get along with them better than I do with most of the people I interact with on a daily basis. I mean, they write great books, obviously. But also, they’re fellow #AdultDirectioners, so I know they’d love the 1D lyric graphic I couldn’t resist making for this post. And lastly, they just get me, somehow. I’m not an easy person to understand. Like, at all. And they made my day today. How, you ask? New. Books. Yo.
Another week, another roundup of deals! I hope you all had a relaxing Fourth of July. I read 3 books poolside the other day, so I can definitely say my holiday was great! How did I find these? I subscribe to a few newsletters that email you a list of books that are free or on sale. It’s great. Even though I usually end up buying more books that way, I still probably save because books on my wish list are frequently listed, and I know to buy them sooner rather than later. You can sign up for the newsletters […]
So this post is being written on June 27 since I’m going on vacation for the weekend. Unfortunately, that means I can’t guarantee that these books will still be on sale by the time of publish. I’m sorry, I know, I suck. But I’m at the beach, so… I haven’t found many new sales since last week that have caught my eye. But, these are all really, really, really awesomesauce books, and quality trumps quantity, ya know? As always, if you know of any great books on sale, leave a link in the comments! How did I find these? I subscribe […]
