Review + Excerpt: Working Girl by A.E. Woodward

Review: Recommended for: Fans of stories with broken characters and people learning how become more than the life they’d been handed. This was kind of meh for me. It kept getting better as I read on, but it was kind of tough to get through in the beginning. For someone who’s so determined to forget and escape her past, Presley sure harps on it a lot. I totally get that she has reason to be a little pessimistic, but wow, did she have a bad outlook. I feel like if it weren’t for Emerson’s influence, she would have been to […]

Review: Recommended for: Twisters and turners, tennis players, and anyone who wouldn’t be too sad to see one of their exes a little banged up. What I liked about this series was the distinctly different themes each volume has. Volume 1 was all about carefree, cocky Ryder. Volume 2 was when we saw vengeful, hurt Ryder. Review + Excerpt: Slade by Adriane Leigh

Review: Recommended for: People who like an element of suspense with their romance and aren’t turned off by a little BDSM. Loved this! The only thing I didn’t love was that I thought it was kind of weird how many things in this book were compared to chocolate. But I love chocolate, so I kind of get how everything good can remind you of it. Also, I’ve read Wild, but not Ridge, so all of the interactions with Ridge kind of confused me. Not a big deal, especially since where Wild was a pretty big (although still a side) […]
